New and improved features have been added to the site.
Some of the key changes include:
-
Audits
Added the ability to audit jobs. This functionality has an associated report that is similar to the inspection values report.
-
Gages
Added a new type of gage. These are called "Rolling Gages". These are groups of gages, such as calipers, that generally have a
shorter calibration duration and are usually calibrated by the operator.
Rolling gages have an interface for setting up calibration blocks. A calibration block is a part with dimensions that are known to be
accurate in order to calibrate a gage. These calibration blocks get inspections, similar to operations, and are calibrated through the gage
calibration interface.
-
Gage Calibration
Rolling gages are calibrated in the gage calibration interface. This can be reached by directing the browser to https://'yoursubdomain'.productionsoft.com/GageCalibration
In the gage calibration section, the user will enter the serial number from their particular gage, select the block to use, and then conduct an inspection
similar to running a job. If all of the measurements are within tolerance, the calibration record for this gage will be updated automatically.
NOTE: Gage calibration is designed to be accessed on a designated station. While in the calibration interface the navigation is disabled. A user can log off
and will return to this interface upon logging back in. To exit this interface, log out, then click the Home link. This will redirect you to a log
in for the full application.
-
Measurement Trends Graph
The trends graph has been updated to include an Upper and Lower Control Limit. Changes have also be made to the way the data is displayed in order
to make it more readable. The Upper and Lower Control Limits can be set by navigating to any variable inspection and setting these values.
-
Settings
A few new settings have been added for indicating your Time Zone as well as some more options for displaying the trends graph.
Note: If the Variable Min and Max, Control Limits, or the Trends Graph are toggled off, they will not be shown to operators while running inspections,
but will still display in the preview section for that inspection.
